Church

“…but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles,
but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.”
(1Co 1:23-24 ESV)

At Christ Lutheran Church, we preach the good news of our savior, Jesus Christ and what he has done for us.

The work of Jesus as Savior is: He lived, suffered, and died for all sinners to earn forgiveness of sins and eternal life for all people; He rose from the dead to assure sinners that God accepts all who do not trust in what they try to do, but who trust only in the savior, Jesus.

We Christians cannot live perfectly, but we strive to live according to God’s commands to thank Him for His blessing of eternal life. We also recognize that he shows us how to live through the Bible, His inspired Word, which is without error, and the Sacraments that he has given us.

We celebrate Holy Communion in the belief that, as Jesus says, He gives into our mouths not only bread and wine, but His very Body and Blood to assure us individually that what He did on His cross was for the forgiveness of all our sins so that we do have peace with God and power from God for daily faithful living.

Our worship is done in the style of the Christian Church for the whole of its history.  This traditional style of worship connects us with the larger Church.

We invite you to worship with us on Sunday mornings.
